All of the guest rooms and suites at the Inn also feature serene views of our championship golf course or our landscaped grounds and the Duke Forest.
All standard, non-ADA rooms and suites have entrance door widths of 35”, bathroom door widths of 35” and grab bars in the bathrooms. Please note that they do not have any additional accessible features.

Guest Rooms
The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club’s elegantly-appointed 297-square-foot guest rooms showcase either two double beds or one king bed. Warm colors complement a casual sitting area with a large desk, offering a relaxing space to unwind after a day of sightseeing or business meetings. In addition to high speed Internet access and our exceptional amenities, these rooms also offer nightly turndown service by request with gourmet chocolates. Choose from views of the 18-hole Duke University Golf Club or the verdant Duke Forest.

One Bedroom Suites
All of the One Bedroom Suites at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club are 490 square feet and feature a king sized bed along with elegant furnishings. These comfortable suites also boast a living room with a sofa, which are separated from the bedroom by French doors. Marble bathrooms and fine linens add a touch of luxury while still making you feel right at home. One Bedroom Suites offer a choice of views including our championship golf course, the Duke Forest or the University Tower.
Specialty Suites
Terrace Suite
The Terrace Suite is a one bedroom suite with a king size bed. This Suite features a living room which is separated from the bedroom by French doors and has a full size sleeper sofa and table with 4 chairs. All rooms have luxurious marble bathrooms with the finest linens. All Terrace Suites provide a stunning view of the Duke University Golf Course.
Deluxe Suite
The 776-square-foot Deluxe Suite is thoughtfully-appointed with a spacious living room area that contains a dining table for two and a sleeper sofa with a full mattress. The separate bedroom features a king bed fitted with luxurious linens. The bathroom has a tub with shower in addition to a separate walk-in shower.
Family Suite
Our spacious Family Suites feature a master bedroom with king size bed as well as an extended hallway that leads into a separate, but spacious room with bunk beds for the kids (suitable for children 12 and under). This comfortable suite also contains a large work desk and one full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. The family suite is ideal for small families visiting our Durham hotel.
Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite
The 824-square-foot Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite features a large living room area with a sleeper sofa and two separate bedrooms with one king bed in each bedroom. This suite has two full bathrooms, including one with a walk-in shower and a separate bathroom off the main bedroom with a tub. You will also find three flat screen HD televisions, one in each bedroom and one in the living room. The Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite provides a stunning view of Duke University Golf Course.
Ambassador Suite
The 826-square-foot Ambassador Suite welcomes guests with an inviting dining room and living room with sleeper sofa. The master bedroom features a king sized bed fitted with luxurious linens and the stunning master bathroom contains a large garden tub and separate shower. The suite also includes a second full bathroom accessible via the living room. Picturesque views of the Duke University Golf Club make for an enjoyable stay.
Homestead Suite
Decorated with timeless flair and style, the 1,120-square-foot Homestead Suite provides discerning travelers an elegant home away from home. Sophisticated jewel tones and richly stained hardwood floors reflect the ambiance of an English country estate, while custom-designed window treatments frame glorious views of the award-winning 18-hole championship Duke University Golf Course. The private master bedroom boasts plush wool carpeting and a luxurious king size four-poster bed frame. The generously sized marble bathroom showcases a resplendent soaking tub and a separate glass-enclosed shower. The Homestead Suite also makes entertaining guests a delight by offering a separate sitting area for four to six people with sophisticated lounge chairs and a plush sleeper sofa in addition to the convenience of a separate powder room.
Presidential Suite
Our most luxurious accommodation, the 1,776-square-foot Presidential Suite boasts 1.5 bathrooms, living room, dining area for eight and large kitchen with butler door and one bedroom with a king bed. A large terrace located off the living room overlooks the majestic golf course and putting green.
